At the Haddon Heights Campus when students dont feel like participating or engaging and adults get creative and create a friendly competition to see who can read and identify the words first... and suddenly our little scholars want to compete, too 😊. Great job - Trish and 104 staff 👏👏.

At the Haddon Heights Campus Principal Palma has been using doing morning announcements with her on zoom as a reward for good behavior the prior day and the kids and adults alike are looving it. 😊

At the Haddon Heights Campus.... Mr. P’s class had an exciting opportunity to join a live stream with beloved author Dav Pilkey, creator of Dog Man and Captain Underpants. Students prepared their own questions and were thrilled to ask them during the event, learning about Pilkey’s inspirations, his journey as a writer, and his life as an author. As a special bonus, they even got a sneak peek at his upcoming story!

Please join us for a great night!!

Today at the Haddon Heights Campus in 205 we solved some egg matching math, created watercolor egg art, made predictions on how many eggs we could stack together, and designed some egg ornaments! The room really got into the spirit of Spring!

At the Haddon Heights Campus today Brookfield Elementary had their annual egg hunt/activity Wednesday today! The kids and adults all had a fabulous time!

At the Haddon Heights campus, students in 204 used a TDS tester to test the "total dissolved solids" in a variety of popular water bottles. This is one of the many methods used to determine the safety of drinking water.

Today Ms. Regina had the pleasure to join friends in 206 while they were presenting their research on amazing people that made a difference and are celebrated for black history and women's history. They did an amazing job! 👏👏👏

The kids from the Elementary School (Ms. Kelly's class) really enjoyed learning outside of the classroom and meeting our "adopted cow", Harper through the Adopt a cow program that works with local dairy farms. https://www.discoverdairy.com/adopt-a-cow/
We were privileged to visit Myerwood Farm where the students were able to see where the cows live and how they are cared for from infants to adults. Farmer Melanie took us on a tour and explained each area of their farm including the hospital barn, how often they milk the cows, how large they can be, as well as how much milk each cow can produce in a day - 11 gallons! We were able to see the various pens and barns where they live and learned how long they stay in each area - they start in individual pens, then move to a bigger barn where they learn to socialize (she told us it is just like elementary school), then off to the field and the milking barns. The kids even got to pet a couple of calves who were only about a week old. The students have been following Harper's growth journey since the fall, so it was such a treat to see her in person!

Students in 204, at the Haddon Heights campus, learned about the laws of gravity in science. They used several weighted marbles to compare time and speed.

Equine week 1 with a lesson on Respect with our Haddon Heights students 🐴 ❤️😊

A few of our Visual Art students from our Cherry Hill Campus were able to attend and submit work to the NJ Teen Arts Festival! Wonderful job!!

Room 104 at the Haddon Heights Campus has spent the past few weeks studying the different parts of the body and how they work together. One of our favorite activities was exploring how our lungs function. Using simple materials like tape, zip-lock bags, and straws, we created a model to demonstrate how air moves in and out of the lungs.

Students in room 104 at the Haddon Heights Campus had a blast making leprechaun traps! Happy St.Patrick's Day!

Cosmetology students at the Cherry Hill Campus started a new unit on eyelash application…lots of concentration and steady hands required!
